These two
images show the miniature mechanical components designed and manufactured
by Alpha Automation for use in an attachment
for laboratory microscopes. This device is inserted in the illuminator
light path of a microscope and reduces operator fatigue when viewing
pathology specimens. The body of the device is CNC machined from billet
aluminum with the internal components manufactured in a combination
of materials. Also featured is a variety of stamped parts including
linkages and ball detents.
